The basic program is:
- 2-3 year olds, 9:00-12:00, 3 or 5 days*
- 3-4 year olds, 8:30-12:30, 4 or 5 days
- 4-5 year olds, 8:30-12:30, 5 days
*Children must be 2 years old by September 1 to enroll.
Additional options are:
- Early drop-off (8:30) for the 2-3 classes
- Lunch (12:00-12:30) for the 2-3 classes
- Extended day (12:30-3:00)
- An 8-week summer program (9:00-1:00)
Prospective parents and students are
encouraged to take tours of the school. A current parent
will meet you and show you around the school, allowing time
for your child to explore the classrooms and for you to meet
and speak with the teachers. Tours are weekday mornings, by

Newtowne begins accepting applications for the 2008-2009 school year
at the Open House, October 20, and by mail or in person on an
ongoing basis after that. (Applications submitted before the Open
House will be marked as received on the 20th; attendance at the Open
House is not required to submit an application.)
In extending offers of enrollment, we follow the order in which
applications are received, while giving priority to families that
have children already enrolled or children who've graduated from
Newtowne; we also aim for gender balance and diverse classrooms.
While we don't require a tour before the submission of an
application, we certainly encourage prospective families to take a
tour before applying.
Newtowne has a scholarship fund for
qualified families and we strongly encourage families
seeking financial aid to apply. Please contact our director
for more information.

so there may some delay in replying to your request for
information. But our parent volunteers will do their best to
