Pink Penguin Playgroups
Pink Penguins is a playgroup that meets up weekly for 8 weeks. They enjoy Reggio-inspired provocations that scaffold and inspire children’s learning and create moments for caregivers to connect and share in the joy and journey of raising toddlers. The playgroups take place all around Newtowne School, and sometimes even outdoors!
Pink Penguins is not a drop-off program. Fostering caregiver engagement in play is one of the program intentions, so caregivers stay with children for the entire duration of each playgroup meetup.
Who are the Pink Penguins?
Pink Penguins are 1- to 3-year-olds in the greater Cambridge area who gather with their caregiver(s) one day per week at Newtowne School!
Who are the caregivers?
Pink Penguin caregivers are parents, grandparents, nannies, favorite neighbors, and more! We welcome any grownups who are special in a child’s life.
