Alex
Purple Fish Teacher
Alex is enthusiastic to become part of the Newtowne community! Alex received her B.A. in Early Childhood Education and Child Studies at Lesley University. She had her first experience in a Reggio preschool in 2011 when she fell in love with the teaching philosophy. She has experience working with children with disabilities and with English as an additional language. It is most important to Alex that every child feels safe and supported in the classroom. She prioritizes fostering empathy in children. She fosters a sense of community in her classroom, encouraging children to be citizens of the world. Alex is very close with her younger brother, and she enjoys family, singing, baking, and animals.
