Amanda joined Newtowne in 2016 as a Float Teacher and worked in the Green Dragonfly classroom for two years. Amanda now enters the new role of Pedagogista. Before coming to Newtowne, she studied Art History and Visual Art at Lesley University. Her love for museum education has transferred to the classroom after being introduced to the Reggio philosophy. She enjoys visiting her family in Maryland, playing volleyball, and living in the Somerville area.
