After working in several early childhood programs in the Boston area, Ashley was thrilled to join the Newtowne community in 2016. She is a strong believer in the value of play and loves to provide open-ended opportunities for children to explore, express themselves, and connect with others through play. She draws inspiration from the schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy and sees fostering trusting relationships and creating a cozy, inviting, inspiring classroom environment as essential foundations for learning. Ashley studied Anthropology and French as an undergraduate student at Colgate University and holds a Master’s in Early Childhood Education from the University of Rochester. In her spare time, she loves to practice yoga, read, and spend time outside exploring the Cambridge area with friends and family.
