Emily first came to Newtowne in 2014 as a student teacher in the Green Dragonfly classroom and fell in love with the school along with the Reggio Emilia philosophy. After completing her degree in Early Childhood Education and Mathematics, and teaching in the Newtowne summer program, she joined us in the Orange Sea Star classroom. Emily grew up in the Adirondacks and is thrilled to bring her enduring love of nature to our emergent curriculum.
